In March 2026, as communities were preparing for the first-ever Panhandle Frontier Finds, our Garden County communities of Broadwater, Lisco, Lewellen and Oshkosh and the Morrill County community of Broadwater were struck by wildfires. Driven by strong winds and dry conditions, the fires quickly burned more than a half-million acres in a matter of days and forced temporary evacuations of communities. This page will serve as notice for any changes to PFF sales from those published in the official Trail Guide. Photo courtesy of Jean Jensen.
